Care Teak Furniture for Investment
Quality teak furniture is not cheap, and there is a reason for it. Teak is one of the best materials on the market for furniture. It is an exotic wood resistant to rot, bug and with very little care will last for years, if you leave it outdoors or enjoy the beauty of teak furniture in the room.
Left to itself, teak furniture will age gracefully. It will depart from the original golden honey color to silver-gray over the years. This is natural, because the oil timber slowly drain. Painting Your identity is not a good idea. The natural oils will resist the paint and stain. If you want to paint your furniture, consider another timber, such as the Northern White cedar or red cedar. They will take the stain and paint is much easier.
If you have a room of teak furniture, it should be cleaned regularly. This means that both dust now and then when you do the cleaning and remove any of your other particles, debris or food crumbs out of it so they do not scratch, mar or damage the wood.
